Marver - A flat steel plate that’s used for the picking up color chips or the shaping of molten glass on the end of a blowpipe or pipe with a rolling action. A Marver can also help in the uneven cooling of the glass for a desired effect.

Melt - The fluid glass produced by melting a batch of raw materials.

Millefiore - Cane that contains a floral motif.

Mould-Blown
- Glass formed into a shape by being blown into a mold usually made of wood, metal or plaster.

Mosaic Glass - Produced by a glassblower rolling the hot glass globe over a marble or iron plate covered with small pieces of colored glass. These pieces adhere to the surface of the globe. The object is then overlaid with clear glass before being finished.

Murrine - Cane that has been configured, stretched, heated, and cut in half to create an image.

Murrinni - Patterned glass cane cut into sections to form small disks used in decorating glass or constructing glass.
